Owner
Dana Tillman is the owner of D.Meryl’s Salon and has been working in the hair industry in the Piedmont Triad for 20+ years.
Her training consists of an extensive amount of education and certifications in Goldwell products and hair color. She has attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Toronto, Canada and has been certified in L'Oréal Inoa hair color.
Dana has advanced training in hair cutting and design while mentoring under many top salon professionals. Dana firmly believes that thorough consultations guarantee both client satisfaction and maintaining healthy hair.
Erin Pierson
Stylist
Erin has always had a passion for doing hair. She has been in the industry for the past 15 years. Erin has many certifications and training with Goldwell hair color and also enjoys working with the ammonia free L’Oreal Inoa hair color.

Kristin Cowels
Stylist
Kristin Cowles is excited to join D’Meryl Salon with 23 years of experience. Over the years, her extensive training and education consist of Goldwell and Wella hair color, KARG cutting, as well as training under a well-known stylist in Beverly Hills California.
She has a passion for color, cutting and her relationships with her clients/friends. It puts a smile on her face and helping her clients feel better about who they are through their natural beauty. It is a beautiful thing with a career and a passion come together, and Kristin feels truly blessed!

Gayle Stancil
Stylist
Gayle Michelle Stancil joins D’Meryl Salon bringing 32 years of experience in the world of “hair!“
Originally a New York City native, where her education and career started, Gayle has shared her talent as a stylist, colorist, and educator here in the southeast since 1994 and calls the south home. She has had extensive opportunities to train with some of the best which has resulted in various certificates in achievement. Gayle is certified as a Hale hair color, specialist and educator with Goldwell International. She also obtained certification in the proper application and service of Keratin hair conditioners and straightening products.
Her passion for the industry continues, as well as her desire to stay current and knowledgeable in service and product. Gayle provides herself in thorough consultation, unleashing and discovering self image, which she believes leads to client satisfaction and women who feel beautiful inside and out!

Vanessa
Stylist
Vanessa is excited to join D. Meryl’s Salon. She has 10 years of experience in the hair industry. She studied at Leon’s Beauty School and worked at Leon’s Style Salon at Adams Farm location. Vanessa worked for 8 years at Blasted Blow Dry Bar where she learned Paul Mitchell’s Blowout Techniques. Vanessa, throughout her years of experience doing blowouts, has developed her own technique that provides relaxation, beautification, and happiness to her customers. Blowouts can last up to three to four days after the procedure.
Vanessa has been trained on Cezanne Keratin Treatments and Leaf & Flower Brazilian Keratin Treatments.
